Visit the Paint Center in the rear of the store.
It is a true destination to fulfill all of your home improvement needs.
When painting a room, set yourself up for success and be prepared before starting your project. Clear the room as completely as possible. If you are unable to remove some of the bigger furniture, shift it all to the center of the room and cover it with a drop cloth. Patch any nail holes and/or blemishes in the wall and sand smooth. Use a good Painter’s tape to keep paint off of unwanted areas, such as trim. Protect the floors with additional drop cloth material. Have a step ladder on hand for those higher walls, as well as a telescoping pole roller. Cut in the corners and borders before rolling the walls. Get a good roller (my favorite is the Polar Bear Roller) and don’t get in a hurry. Good Paint jobs take some patience, but it will be worth all the effort in the end.
